Online shopping: men vs. women [infographic]

We all know women can shop 'till they drop, while men don't need new trousers 'cause they allready got a pair'. But online, other rules apply. There are more women shopping online. But the big spenders....are men!

That is the outcome of research into the online shopping behavior of men and women, conducted by Dutch consumer website BesteProduct.nl. We checked a wide range of whitepapers, researches, surveys and data by various sources and came across some interesting differences how men and women shop online. Check the infographic below:

That's not all though, we came across some more interesting facts.

Women don't visi...no wait, actually they do. 35% of them visits pornsites every now and then.

• Both men and women like to spend their money online, but also like the idea of making (a lot of) money online. The idea of starting a webshop is in the mind of many men and women, but expecations vary widely. Men think they can make an average of 5000 euro monthly, with a 10 hour workweek. Women expect to make 1000 euro with a 20 hour workweek.
  
  
• It can't be all work and no play. So the online entertainment business is a force to be reckoned with. Especially online gambling. And porn. don't forget the porn. 45% of the men visit porn sites. Women don't visi...no wait, actually they do. 35% of them visits pornsites every now and then.
